This morning I cleaned the rear of the car emptied out all the rubbish and cleaned the fridge. It stinks, even after a bath in dettol it stinks and has stopped working.

This afternoon I took a drive into East Tsavo National Park. A very dry dusty and rocky park. The warden told me there had been a lion kill in the morning so I went to take a look.

I found the carcass easy enough - a buffalo .. note the cheeks have been eaten.

The lions were a bit harder.. to find

There are six lions here, but well hidden!

They're sleeping off a big lunch...

So I move on.. The park fees are around US$50 but the roads aren't bad and it is well sign posted.

Plenty of Elephant

Zebra

Masai Giraffe

Cokes Hartebeeste and Grants gazelle

Buffalo lots of them .I estimate 1500 but the park warden told me the herd was 2500 strong.

A wonderful sight.

Back to the lions for a last look.

Two are back for seconds.

Then back to the hotel for a shower and a meal.
