Our guide yesterday told us about a new road to Dar.. but said it was 2 kms out of the park..
we found an old road about 4 kms away that had been graded but weren't sure. One thing I learnt from an early age is distances and time are not a precise thing in the African mind.
So what if 2ks is 4, or 20 minutes is 40... ? or visa versa.
We took it and it saved us a good one and half hours.. but as we got closer to Dar we
struck villages and suburbs ..all packed being a weekend.
Into Dar we found a hotel and relaxed for a while. We then went to The Cape Town Fish Market restaurant on the waterfront for dinner .
The place was humming. Music and fun..
Good fish meal.. Prawns were nice ..but expensive ..Wine $14 a glass.
Bed. Tomorrow Rayna leaves for Jo'burg.
