July 31st Kgalagadi National Park

Had an early start, driving north for about 3 hours. I now know about the Kalahari Sands - the very fine sand that makes up the geological formation for much of Botswana and all the way into Zimbabwe.

Animal sightings were good. Of course, Gemsbok and Springbok, but Zoe did get an

amazing shot of Kudu Males.

But it was a good day for us..Zoe has good eyes.. She spotted a cat...

We were lucky, as it got closer.

Back to camp by about 3pm, so Zoe could join an evening drive.

A good local guide, very informative... and another Karakul this time eating wild cat.

At a distance we saw Brown Hyena and that night heard them around the camp.

A great day in a true paradise.
