Johannesburg to Cape Town about 1500 kms

Wanted to get away at 7 but with last minute packing left at 8.

My sister Leonie had prepared food for the journey "Padkos" -

sandwiches, chocolate cake (as good as she made when I was 12),biltong, wine

and rusks

I

The Karoo ..beautiful in its own way.
