Early start.. heading east for Chipata then north to South Luangwa..

Got fresh bread in Chipata and then to Croc Valley camp, a few minutes from the park gate.

Passed a truck/bus before Chipata full of young muzungus (whites).

Interesting scenes at the local the bus stop..

Dried fish from the Zambesi river about 90 k's away.

Basket weavers selling their wares

I get to Crocodile camp at about 4 pm .. The manager meets me asks whether I have a booking .. Yes I said one bedroom shared ablutions.. No booking!!

He asked if I had proof.. By chance I had kept a copy.. He was embarrassed as he had sent the email. I was given a pleasant self contained chalet. Not bad for $25 per night.

At about 6.15 pm the truck bus arrives and they set up camp. They are gone the next day.

Joburg to Nairobi in 5 weeks.
