August 23rd Zim-Zam

Today I cross the Victoria Falls bridge into Zambia.

The border crossing is quick.. The investment of the "Carnet" once again paying dividends.

Into Livingstone.. There is a conference on ..difficult to get accomodation.. Get a room for US$60 at the Fairmont hotel.. clean, hot shower ..Cops charge me with obstruction of traffic when I park in the main street getting a sim card.. Waste 50 minutes talking my way out of this one.

Went to a bar for a burger and a drink for dinner.

The gorge below the falls.. little water this year.. In April there will be 20 times more water going through this gorge
