Left Vic Falls around midday for the 2 hour trip to Hwange.
Picked up fire wood on the way.
Only going to Hwange because when I was here in February they charged my credit card twice and told me that the card had not gone through.. I then paid cash.
It was sorted out over some months.. and to get the money back from the National Parks authority would have been impossible so I took accommodation in its place.
Arrived ..unpacked .. Bloody baboons took bread and biscuits out of the chalet within
30 minutes.
Lodges haven't changed much since my childhood. But clean and hot water.
Afternoon drive to Nyamandlovu pan ..had to leave at 5.45pm to get back for 6 closing..
Elephants just starting to arrive..too late
